Care Assistant (Care at Home)

Scotland — local runs, community based · Full-time or part-time · flexible shifts · £13.45+ per hour, plus paid travel time and mileage

Support people to live well in their own homes — personal care, companionship and everyday help, delivered with warmth. Experience is welcome but values matter more: we fund your PVG, support your SSSC registration and pay for your SVQ training.

What you'll do

Personal care delivered with dignity (washing, dressing, continence care)
Medication prompts as set out in each person's care plan
Meal preparation, light housekeeping and shopping
Companionship — conversation, outings and appointments
Clear, honest notes after each visit

What we're looking for

A caring, reliable nature — experience helpful but not essential
Willingness to join the PVG scheme (we pay the fee)
Willingness to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting (we guide you through it)
Driving licence and access to a car preferred for community runs
Right to work in the UK

What you'll get

£13.45+ per hour — the Scottish commissioned-care rate, not the minimum wage
